South Park Inn

In September, our Social Action Committee initiated a project to benefit South Park Inn, a homeless shelter in Hartford. We sponsored a veteran who is transitioning from the Shelter to permanent, independent housing. With 95 percent participation from our staff and support from the Firm, we provided this individual with a TV, TV stand, microwave, kitchenware, bedding and other essentials to get him settled in his new home. Using leftover funds from generous cash donations by our staff, we will be helping him purchase a bicycle so he can ride to the gym near his new apartment and continue his much-enjoyed fitness regimen.   We’re proud to have made a difference in this Veteran’s life and hope to continue to help other veterans as they progress toward permanent housing.
