Associate and Senior Associate
Description
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
- Assist in developing solutions to tax issues though researching tax regulations, understanding tax implications and making recommendations based on your findings.
- Assist in preparing responses to various tax notices and liaising with tax authorities.
- Participate in special tax and consulting projects, including estate and financial planning.
- Work with a variety of clients to gain exposure of a variety of organizations and a stronger understanding of tax laws and implications.
- Work with clients to build trusted relationships.
- Review personal and corporate tax returns.
- Mentor and coach junior staff and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Accounting
- Strong academic track record
- Has or is working towards CPA license
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment.
- Relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
