Associate and Senior Associate

Description

  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Assist in developing solutions to tax issues though researching tax regulations, understanding tax implications and making recommendations based on your findings.
  • Assist in preparing responses to various tax notices and liaising with tax authorities.
  • Participate in special tax and consulting projects, including estate and financial planning.
  • Work with a variety of clients to gain exposure of a variety of organizations and a stronger understanding of tax laws and implications.
  • Work with clients to build trusted relationships.
  • Review personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff and interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Accounting
  • Strong academic track record
  • Has or is working towards CPA license
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment.
  • Relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
